Sunset Along the Charles River

One morning I woke up early at around 5am.  Got up, ate a quick breakfast, got dressed, got my backpack, grabbed my bike and rode to catch the sunrise at the Charles River.  I wanted to have a spot at the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Memorial Drive but somebody already beat me to it.  I was bummed that had happened but it actually worked out for the best because I took a spot about 50 feet down from there and took some wonderful shot like my favorite shot of the morning, the one below.  I'm glad the person took my spot because I probably wouldn't have gotten this shot had he not.

The M.I.T. bridge.

The sun began to peak out it's beautiful self behind some buildings in the Boston skyline as some kayakers are rowing away.

I enjoyed getting up for the sunrise and taking photos.  I'm probably going to make it a habit this coming spring and summer at various places, not sure where yet though but will definitely keep you informed.  It's always great getting up early every once in awhile, the fresh morning air, people are so much nicer.
